I happen to own quite a lot of beauty and fashion books, and I thought I would share them. I received all of these as various birthday and Christmas presents, and several were from charity shops, so have a rummage and see what you can find. (I'm leaving Amazon links below, but just type in the book name on Google to get a better option!)
Reviews and links:
- Fashionista: A Century of Style Icons ~ This is a beautiful 'coffee table' book with stunning photos interspersed with writing about fashion's biggest influences ~ Link
- Bobbi Brown Beauty ~ Slightly outdated, but perfect for beginners who want to know some important makeup tricks ~ Link
- Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual ~ Stunning, informative and inspiring. I absolutely love this book, from the stunning photos and tutorials, to the information about diet and the makeup industry - worth the money! ~ Link
- Liz Earle Skin Secrets (I have the older version) ~ an interesting insight into the natural methods to get perfect skin - very helpful in amending your diet, doing exercise and how to fix skin conditions, particularly if you are interested in natural beauty and remedies ~ Link
- Bobbi Brown Teenage Beauty ~ very '90s, but a good place for young people to start ~ Link
- 100 Ways for Every Girl to Look and Feel Fantastic ~ more of a growing up/self-confidence book, but with important messages and tips for teenagers trying to improve their image and confidence ~ Link
- 21st Century Beauty Bible ~ a nice layout with excellent tips, but, as it was published a while ago, the tried & tested section may not be the best resource for information Link
Thanks for reading! Share your favourite beauty books down below and tell me which you are most interested in reading.
